A decent sized PR on this workout today. Might have something to do with the fact that I took 2 full days off, which I haven't done in a long time. Regardless, I'm definitely getting more fit.
I'm pretty sure Steve and I are going to do the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim with a couple of friends this spring. It looks like it's about 23 miles with 4500 feet of drop into the canyon and 5500 feet of climbing out. Should be epic.

Curious as to what route are doing in the ditch. Sounds like S to N on the Kaibab ... and if you do that in the early spring, the issue is the north side is often still closed.
ReplyDeleteYou most certainly could do the R2R2R. It is a bitch but worth every step.
I think we are going S to N. My buddy who has done it a bunch is setting it up for us. He said we should be ok with the seasonal timing.
